"-So then Kero said that Suppi had called him... Hiiragizawa-kun, is everything alright?" Sakura stopped in mid-sentence as she noticed that the usually silent member of their small circle of friends had stopped walking to stare at a television screen in a store window. Tomoyo, Sakura and Syaoran all backed up the few steps to see what Eriol was looking at. 

"I didn't know you liked those sword and sorcery anime." Tomoyo remarked, smiling slightly as a fire-haired sorceress destroyed part of a city with a huge blast. 

"Hmm? Oh, I don't." Eriol assured her. "I was just seeing how my Great-Grandfather was doing."

On screen, the blue-skinned chimera, blonde swordsman and dark-haired princess mirrored the same looks of astonishment and disbelieve as the humans out side. 

"How can your Great-Grandfather be an -anime- character?!" Li demanded suspiciously. But then he had a good reason to be suspicious. If Eriol was related to an anime character, that meant that Syaoran was also probably related to an anime character. Such were the joys of being related to Clow Read. 

Eriol closed his eyes and grinned at him, perfectly mimicking the Trickster Priest on the screen. "Sore wa himitsu desu."
