Pesky Kids

"You won't get a way this time, Naraku!" Miroku shouted, chasing the baboon cloaked villain into a dead end.

"Ku ku ku ku!" Naraku spun, his back against the wall as Inuyasha, Sango, Miroku and Kagome blocked the exit. "You meddling idiots! You can't defeat me!"

"Oh, yeah?!" With a 'Poof!' Shippou appeared behind the cloaked figure. He jumped on top of Naraku's head and began to knaw on his skull.

"Shippou!" Kagome called as Naraku reached up and pulled the growling kit off his head. Or at least attempted to. Shippou clutched to the skin in his teeth with the tenacity of a tick. Kagome ran forward and grabbed the kit as well, trying to get him out of Naraku's grasp.

Inuyasha let out a curse and grabbed Kagome around the waist. "Idiot!" He growled, pulling her back just in time to avoid being hit by Naraku. Naraku cursed as well, trying to shake free of the kitsune's grasp.

Shippou refused to release his grip, Kagome wouldn't to let go of Shippou and Inuyasha was trying to get both of them out of harms way, which resulted in a strange dancing tug of war.

Sango and Miroku didn't seem to find the humour in the circumstances as they circled, looking for an opening without hitting their companions.

The standstill finally ended with a muffled 'Pop!', sending Inuyasha, Kagome and Shippou flying backwards and narrowly missing the other two. Naraku sailed the other way, landing in the shadows.

"Get off me!" Inuyasha snapped from below underneath Kagome, looking very much like he'd just been told to 'sit'. Kagome blushed and quickly stood up, holding Shippou who was still growling with the baboon skin in his teeth.

"I got him!" Miroku shouted, nailing the shadowed figure on the head with his staff. Sango backed him up, one hand on her boomerang.

"Owie!!" Naraku stumbled out of the shadows revealing himself to really be-

"Chibi-Usa?!" Everyone gasped at the pink haired girl rubbing her head.

"What are you doing here?!" Kagome gasped as the tiny girl glared at them all.

"Collecting the Shikon Shards." Chibi-Usa pouted, crossing her arms. "And I would have gotten away with it, if it hadn't been for you meddling kids and your pesky kitsune too!"
