"Inuyasha..." Kikyo said tentatively as she and the dog boy strolled peacefully through the forest. It was nice to get away from the others for a while, and just talk. "I've been wondering about the prayer beads. Where did you get them?"

Inuyasha turned faintly red, glaring at them. "Your sister put them on me." He growled, trying not to curse. "It's a subduing spell."

Kikyo gave him an inquiring look. "Kagome's the only one who can activate it." He added.

"How?"

He turned a bit more red, tinting his ears pink and muttered something she couldn't catch. "What?"

"She says 'Sit'." He grumbled.

She raised an eyebrow. What a strange word for a subduing spell. "Sit?" She echoed.

*Wham!* Inuyasha was face down in the dirt, the middle two fingers on each hand folded down in a classic sign for warding off deamons.

Kikyo hid a giggle. This was kind of fun.

Inuyasha merely cursed in response.
