Run Around

By Icka! M. Chif

"Do you HAVE to follow me, Tomoyo?" Syaoran snapped as the dark haired girl giggled and followed him up the stair to the Kinomoto residence.

"Of course." Tomoyo replied cheerfully. "I love recording Sakura. And her reactions."

Syaoran muttered something to himself that was neither proper, nor Japanese as Tomoyo turned starry-eyed, stareing into outer space. Sometimes Tomoyo was just *weird*.

"What was that?" Tomoyo asked, leaning forward to catch what he said.

"Nothing." He pressed the doorbell, hoping that maybe he'd luck out and Sakura's older brother wasn't home after all.

The door opened. Luck was not on his side. Filling up the doorway was Touya. And he looked less than pleased to see his little sister's crush.

Syaoran sweatdropped, doing his best to ignore the Look of Doom being directed his way. Even though he had grown while he had been back home, Touya was still larger than him. And while he could probably easily beat Touya in a fight, it wasn't necessarily the best idea to do so. So he tried for nonchalant. "Uh... Hi. Is Sakura home?"

It didn't work. With a muffled 'whoop!' Li jump backwards past Tomoyo, avoiding the fist aimed for his face. "Hey!" He snapped, glaring at the older man defiantly. The glare quickly to panic as Touya decided to follow his fist with the rest of his body.

He couldn't fight Touya, he had no idea what was going on and the look on Touya's face said that words weren't going to work, so Li had one option left. It wasn't one he liked, but he didn't see any other choice.

He turned and ran.

"Whoooo!!!" Cero's loud cheer from the window made Sakura look up from the homework she was working on. "You get 'im Touya-kun!"

"What?" Curious, Sakura rose and walked over to the window. Below them, Li ran past, her brother hot on his heels. She opened the window in a flash, leaning out of it. "Leave him alone Touya!"

This was directly followed by Cero shouting more encouragements to Touya. They disappeared around the corner of the house. A few seconds later, they re-appeared, her brother still on Li's heels.

"I didn't do anything!" Syaoran yelped as he ran under her window.

"Likely story!" Cero shouted back. She hushed him with a look.

Touya was fast. Fortunately, Li was faster. She just wasn't sure for how long. "I'm on my way!" She called, turning to run out of her room and down the stairs.

Outside, Toyomo was filming them running around the house from the safety of the porch.

"What happened?" Sakura asked her best friend as the two men went for another run around the building.

"Li rang the doorbell and Touya snapped." Tomoyo informed her cheerfully.

"That's not a help." Sakura muttered, sweatdropping. "Touya! Leave him alone!" She shouted again.

"Ehhh... I got it." Cero took off higher into the air, transforming in mid-flight. He skimmed over Touya's head, barely avoiding hitting the tall young man before snagging the back of Syaoran's collar in his jaws. Li let out a yelp as he realised just how close Cerberus large teeth were to his neck. Cero merely looked amused as he proceeded to continue to fly around the house.

Touya let out a mild curse, trying to keep up with the overstuffed plushie. Then he spotted a familiar paled haired young man walking up carrying a bag full of groceries. "Yue!" He called waving. "Little help?"

*Foom!* In a swirl of feathers and light Yukito vanished, his taller winged self grabbing Touya and flying after the plushie with a very wide eyed Syaoran in his teeth.

"You guys! Knock it off!" Sakura called as Cero decided to see if he could clear the treetops. He could. Almost. Li let out several choice words as he found his shoes suddenly being filled with leaves. Yue and Touya had little difficulty clearing the tree branches.

"Get back here! Somebody will see you!" Sakura shouted as they vanished.

"I don't think they're listening." Toyomo cheerfully commented, still filming. Sakura let out a groan, sweatdropping.

"I'd better get them." She sighed. "Fly card! Release!" Wings flapping, Sakura took to the air after her guardians, her brother and her boyfriend.

"Hey! Wait up!" Toyomo shouted, chasing after on foot.

Round and round the treetops Cero, Yue and their passengers went. Touya and the ones with wings didn't seem to be having too much trouble, but Syaoran was starting to get dizzy. All this for ringing a doorbell...

He decided he was going to grab the next treetop Cero tried to buzz and get off this freak ride.

Of course, this is the time that Cero decided to see if he could fit under several bridges. Li yelped and tucked his feet up, avoiding getting wet.

He was going to kill the stuft animal, he decided. He'd explain it to Sakura later if he had to, but the flying teddy-kitty must die.

"Cero!" Sakura shouted, catching up to the bizarre game of 'Follow the Leader' as Cero took to scaring the birds out of the trees again. "Drop him right now!"

Cero did. Li began to fall.

Fortunately, Li had already spotted a nice branch to grab on to before the teeth let go of his collar.

Unfortunately, that is exactly what Yue and Touya had been waiting for. They dove for him.

Li braced himself for impact as hands snatching him out of mid air.

Fortunately for him, the hands belonged to Sakura and not her deranged brother. "You... you're HEAVY!" She grunted, wings flapping hard as they began to descend to the ground at a fairly safe pace.

They touched down, Sakura leaning against him as she tried to catch her breath. "You alright?" He asked, supporting her. She nodded.

"Let not do that again, okay?" She smiled at him. He nodded in agreement.

"Awww... you just had to ruin all our fun..." Cero protested playfully as he landed in a tree branch above them. Sakura glared at him. "Return to your false form, Cero. You too, Yue!"

Yue let out a muffled sigh as he touched down, carrying Touya. With a reversed *Foom!* he reverted back to Yukito.

Yuki blinked, looking around. "Huh?" Then he realised that he had his arms around Touya and blushed, releasing the taller boy.

"What were you thinking?!" Sakura demanded. "Somebody could of seen you flying around out there and we all could have gotten in trouble!"

"Sakuraaaaa!" Tomoyo's cheerful voice called as the dark haired girl ran up, the video recorder still firmly in hand. She stopped in front of Sakura, panting for breath.

"Tomoyo-chan! Are you okay?" Sakura asked, putting a hand on her friend's shoulder. Tomoyo nodded, smiling. She straighten and turned to Li.

"You are going to love this video." She grinned at him. He blinked, taking a small step back, suddenly slightly afraid. Sakura sweatdropped. Tomoyo turned to her, the grin turning wicked. "You do realise how short that skirt you're wearing is, don't you?"

"Eeep!" Sakura blushed bright red and attempted to push the short skirt down as far as it could go.

Touya glared at Li, as if daring him to get a nosebleed or even look.

Li merely looked up at the sky instead. "Why me?"

The sound of muffled snickering was his only response.

Fin.
