Disclaimer: This is JR's fault. He was the one who got me hooked on Ranma 1/two, which is were the opening line came from. If it wasn't for them, the voices probably wouldn't have run with it. Anyway, Sony owns the EGBs, they don't know I took them (BWAHAHAHAHA!)and I'm not making any money. (Do ya realise just how much it costs ta feed and shelter these guys? Sheesh!) Enjoy! PopcornBy Icka! M. Chif "An opening!" Garrett flicked a popcorn kernel over Kylie's head, to land right in Eduardo's glass of coke. Eduardo gave Garrett a dirty look, then fished it out of his glass before taking a sip. "Guys, just watch the movie." Roland scolded as Kylie frowned and buried herself deeper into the couch cushions, hiding her face with the large book. "He started it." Eduardo muttered, leaning back and sulking. "It doesn't matter who started it." Roland chided. Garrett smirked as Eduardo wrinkled his nose at the unfairness of it all. He always got blamed for everything. Why'd they have to watch the stupid movie anyway? It had no plot, nothing blowing up and nobody running around minus various articles of clothing. No one really seemed to care for it, even Slimer had wandered off, ignoring the popcorn they had in favour of something more exciting to do. Tok! A popcorn kernel hit him in the side of the head. Eduardo glanced over at Garrett, who looked like he was immensely absorbed in the movie, one hand in his bowl of popcorn. Like he was really gonna fall for that innocent routine. Two could play this game. Causally, he grabbed a handful of popcorn and flicked a piece over Kylie's head. It landed in Garrett's hair. He quickly ate some popcorn to hide his smile as Garrett glanced over at him. Carefully watching out of the corner of his eye, he saw Garrett pick up some more popcorn out of his bowl and munch on a few of them. Kylie turned a page in her book. Garrett tossed one at him under the pretext of scratching his nose. Eduardo feigned a yawn, stretching. The popcorn kernel flew past him and hit Roland, who looked half asleep. "Rats." Garrett muttered as Roland jerked up, looking around for what had hit him. Eduardo hid a grin. This wasn't so boring after all. A few minutes later, when Roland had settled down again, Eduardo faked a sneeze, flicking another popcorn kernel at Garrett. Garrett swatted at it, sending it back his way. Eduardo smugly watched it arc up, too low to reach him. Then Kylie sat up, the kernel sailing right on to the bottom of the collar on her V-neck shirt. It wobbled for a second, then fell into her shirt. All four Ghostbusters stared at where it had disappeared, various expressions of surprise and shock on their faces. "Nice going, Edwina." Garrett remarked, breaking the tense silence, and placing all the blame firmly on Eduardo's shoulders. Eduardo swallowed nervously. This was very bad. Sweat formed on his forehead as Kylie slowly turned toward him, a strange smile on her face. He tensed up, anticipating the oncoming onslaught. "Well?" Kylie asked sweetly. "Aren't you going to get it?" His mind shut down right about there. "Kylie, that wasn't very nice." Roland scolded as Kylie's smile grew into a wicked grin. "It worked." She remarked shrugging innocently. She then stood up, book marking her page. "Now if you'll excuse me, I'll be right back." Garrett and Roland nodded, leaning back in their chairs. As Kylie walked past Garrett's chair, he opened his mouth like he was going to say something. She paused, watching him. "Oh, and Garrett-" She picked up his bowl of popcorn and turned it upside down on his head, the popcorn falling all over him. "-THAT'S for starting it." She stalked off toward the bathroom without another word, book firmly under one arm. "Now that-" Eduardo remarked, coming out of his daze, "-is one chica you don't want to mess with." Garrett and Roland nodded mutely, Garrett comically raining more popcorn down on him before turning back to the movie. Fin. Yeah, I know Ky would probably never do that, but it was a pic I couldn't get out of my head… |
