Disclaimer: It's official. The men in white coats are coming. I do not hold the rights to GenerationX, the Extreme Ghostbusters, the Men in Black or Godzilla. The last three are owned by Sony (or someone like that), the first by Marvel. This was the start of a GenX/EGB crossover, then finals hit. ('Nuff said) The G-man wasn't even in it until I sat down to type. Go figure. Not making any money off of this, so fishy fishy woo!

Disclaimer part two: Xanatos' Steel Clan, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Spider-man all belong to their perspective owners as well. Um, Disney, Eastman & Laird and Marvel, I believe. See above disclaimer.

Too many in NY

The Ecto-1 pulled to a screeching stop in front of the alley and the Ghostbusters quickly stepped out. Kylie immediately pulled out her PKE meter and started scanning the area.

"I'm getting some very unusual readings here." She announced, stepping into the dark alley.

"So what else is new?" Eduardo wanted to know as he powering up his blaster.

She spared him a glare and continued to scan the area.

A second car, a black '86 LTD pulled up beside the Ecto-1 and two men in dark suits stepped out.

"Department of the Unexplained-" One, the stockier one announced.

"-Division Six." The taller, more limber one finished, flashing a badge.

"Whoa, hold on. This is our call, G-man!" Garrett growled, rolling forward.

"And you are?" The stocky one asked.

"We're the Ghostbusters." Roland informed him. "We just got a call about a guy with a glowing head, a guy resembling a gray melting candle and a stone golem."

"Sorry, but I'm gonna have to ask you to step aside and let us do our job." The stocky one said firmly, crossing his arms.

"No hard feelings." The tall one said kindly.

"Wait, I've read about you." Kylie said, stepping forward. "You're the Men in Black, aren't you? You bust aliens."

"Like Illegal immigrants?" Eduardo asked, scratching the back of his head.

"No, like Extra-Terrestrials and UFOs." Kylie corrected.

"I'm sorry you had to say that." The stocky one said. In unison, the two MiBs put on their sunglasses.

:: 'old it right there.:: a new voice rang in their heads. They all turned as three figures stepped out of the alley. The leader of the new trio, a James Dean type of guy dressed in black leather, reached up and removed the bandages around the lower half of his face and his neck. Bright light suddenly spilled out from the gap, lighting the alley.

::We're not ghosts, and we're not Little Green Men from Mars.:: He informed them bluntly.

"Then what are you?" Garrett asked as the gray one started to ooze a bit.

"We're mutants. This is Chamber and Skin. Ah'm Husk. " The girl, who looked fairly normal, announced with a bit of a southern drawl. "Members of Generation X."

"We're just passing through the Big Apple, so there's no need for a fight, Si?" The gray one, obviously Skin, asked in a smoky Hispanic accent.

The Ghostbusters traded looks. Not ghosts. Not exactly human, but not ectoplasmic either. The team powered down, relaxing their guards.

"Sorry about the misunderstanding." Roland apologised, holding out his hand. "I'm Roland, by the way. This is Kylie, Eduardo and Garrett. Nice to meet you."

Husk reached out to take Roland's offered hand, then froze as a dark passed over upon them. They all looked up to see an army of gargoyle shaped robots fly overhead, firing at something behind them.

Another figure, this one dressed in web patterned red and blue spandex pajamas jumped over them, then stuck to the wall. "Not to scare ya or anything, but this is not the safest place to be right now. Ya might wanna consider leaving." He called down at them in an urgent tone. "Now."

"What's going on?" The stocky MiB asked, noticing some humanoid turtles clothed in different coloured bandanas sprint by.

The wall crawler pointed up. "That."

As if on cue, the shadow of a giant foot rapidly descending toward them became visible.

"Oh boy..."

More to come...?
