Two of You are More than Enough
By Jaelle

The music hummed along, accompanied by two voices:

"I see the crystal raindrops fall
And see the beauty of it all
Is when the sun comes shining through
To make those rainbows in my mind
When I think of you some time
And I want to spend some time with you
Just the two of us
We can make it if we try
Just the two of us
Just the two of us
Building castles in the sky
Just the two of us
You and I…"

Hakuba twitched. "HOW many more verses of this song are there?"

"Three," Kaito said mournfully.

Heiji shot the thief an irritated expression. "Let's all hang out tonight," he said, trying to imitate Kaito's voice. "We can get some food and see a movie or maybe do karaoke!"

Kaito flinched and turned to look at the stage where the doppelganger twins Shinichi Kudo and Conan Edogawa were in full-voice as they sang together. Of course in this case, together simply meant that they were singing the same words at the same time. Both of them seemed to be singing in a different scale and register that those normally used by members of the human race. Not only were they not in tune, they weren't even in tune with each other.

"How was I supposed to know they couldn't sing?" He protested weakly.

"Ran fleeing the room screaming and Heiji shouting 'Dear Lord NO' wasn't a big enough clue for you?" Hakuba asked sarcastically.

"Damn it Hakuba, I'm a thief, not a detective."
