This is the result of
a really late night/early morning discussion with Becky Tailweaver
about Kaito and Shin'ichi, how they were the same, and yet mirrors
of each other.
Becky Tailweaver

Shin'ichi: Is not, it's only the fat in your head making it look
smaller.

up sketching it out while chatting with her (sketch below) and went
to bed about the time the sun was rising.
Woke up
4 hours later because the colour theories going through my head
wouldn't allow me to sleep anymore.
Shin'ichi's on the side
of 'good' (white), yet he wears dark colours. Kaito, who's on the
side of 'bad' (black), wears light colours. And their ties are oppisites
on the colour wheels.
And yet, when you get right down to it, they're both in the grey
areas.
They contrast each other.
